I was frustrated that the rep wasn't actively listening so I hung up. I, the customer, was misinformed, frustrated, wasted half the day, I am out of a phone and out of $374.
I was on the phone with AT&T reps for over FIVE 5 hours AND I went into the store for at least half that time, and that was my final resolve. I spoke to a manager, who said there was no way to give me credit for the phone that I paid for and returned. Hence I paid for a phone I was never told to return, AND I also returned the phone. AT&T sent me a label to return the first phone and I did.Īfter the phone was in the mail, I was told that it was too late to return the phone and that I had to pay for it or lose my service. I called and after speaking to several representatives, someone told me the devices were phones. Eventually, I was charged for devices they said I hadn't returned. None of the representatives could tell me what devices they were asking for. I called and said the devices had been returned (DirecTV). I later received a text message to return devices. We were informed to return the old DirecTV equipment to UPS. Later that week a representative came to set up our new DirecTV.
